Hi, I have been searching everywhere for someone who makes
custom stuffed animals that I don't have to buy 1000 of. Your
site seems like you are really good and I was wondering if I sent
you a picture of a baby monkey, would you be able to bring life
to it and make it into a stuffed animal. It's for my girlfriend
and it would really be a great surprise. She is in love with this
picture and if I can get it made into a stuffed animal, well,
she would love me too! So thank you and please respond whether
the answer is yes or no.

Hello Joe. I believe I can help you with the "love of
your life"! I have a couple different monkey patterns, so
there is a good chance I can "bring life" into the critter.
So please do send the photo to me. Do you have any idea what size
you would like the monkey to be? Are we looking for any special
delivery date? After I have studied the photo, I will let you
know what the price would be and other details. Looking forward
to working with you.

Thank you so much for responding. The size is not important,
whatever is easiest for you. And there is not a certain time I
need it by. Just the clothes are important as well as the face
itself. The photo only goes down to the shoulders so do what you
want with the body. Thank you very much, you are the only one
to respond to me. Let me know what's up.

Hello Joe: Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I researched
a full view of a baby orangutan and I found that the "hair"
is reddish-orange and long. I have gone through my patterns, and
can make changes between the patterns to come up with this unique
monkey. I have just finished hunting for material. I can
make it "true color" reddish-orange LONG HAIR FOR THE
HEAD ONLY. That is all the fake fur in the long hair that I have,
but I have short-hair in the same color that I could use for the
arms, legs, body. Since you wanted it dressed (boy or girl?) the
short fake fur might not matter to you. By the way, the face and
hands and feet would be a lighter color...I might use felt for those
parts. If you want Long Hair on the entire orangutan, I do have
a dark brown with black highlights, or a tannish-brown with beige
highlights. This is up to you: what's more important? And of course
I will make clothes for the "baby".. If you decide that
you want me to go ahead with this, the cost to re-design the
pattern and make the Baby Orangutan with clothes will be $45
plus shipping for this special order.

Hi Susan, It doesn't matter to me about the fur. I just want
the head to look like the photograph as best you can. For the clothes,
I know you can't get the same thing, so if you can just get the
blue/green colored shirt as close to that color as you can, then
I'm happy. All I want is the head and color of the shirt to be close,
the rest of the body do as you will. Thank you so much for all of
this, I can't tell you how awesome this is. So just let me know
how you want the payment, how much total, where to send it too,
etc... Thanks again.

Good Morning Joe! Okay, it's a go. I will go through the fabrics
again this weekend and compare them with the photo. This whole
process may take a couple of weeks, but I love a challenge. I
will need to know in advance where you want this shipped to get
a price estimate on shipping. Are you going to personally give
it, or do you want it wrapped and a card put in the package? When
I have the final cost, I will e-mail you the amount. Then you
can work with Pay Pal through my website to get the funds to me.
Sometimes customers prefer to send me a money order or bank draft
instead, and I don't have a problem with that either. So: advise
me on the shipping address and then wait to hear from me on the
costs. And I will be in touch to let you know the progress on
the baby.

You can just send it to me, I will wrap it, but thank you. Also,
I forgot, is it possible to sew or embroider a "name" somwhere
on the shirt? Thank you so much, looking forward to it. :-) |

Hello Joe: There is no problem putting a name on the shirt
(if the word isn't too long to fit). Let me know.

possibly could give me an estimate of how long it might take,
just wondering.

Wednesday,
Hi
Joe. I've started on the monkey and I have gotten quite far on it.
Now I need to do the face, probably move the ears down lower, etc.
If things go well, I hope able to start on the clothes this weekend.
I will keep you informed.

Hello Joe: The Baby Monkey "Petri" is finished and
ready to be sent off. I finished dressing Petri two days ago and
just figured out the shipping cost. It will be $8.15, which added
to the estimate I gave of $45, will bring the total to $53.15. After
you have gone through PayPal with the payment, they will notify
me, and Baby Petri will be on his way. The shipments through Priority
Mail generally take one to three days. I do hope your girlfriend
loves Petri. He was a true challenge to my talents, but I enjoyed
making him. Good luck!

Susan, Thank you so much! I cannot wait to give it to her. So
I've never done anything with paypal, do I have to have a paypal
acount too? What do I do? Do I go to you website?

May 27, 2005
Hello Again. You should be able to start with my website to
get on to PayPal,or just type www.Paypal.com. Yes you do need
to set up an account with them, which is quite easy to do, and
then your shipping address can be verified and we both are "protected"
by their policies. If after reading through their information,
you would prefer a different method, you can send through the
mail a bank draft or money order directly to me. Once the money
has cleared the bank, I will ship out the baby monkey.

Hi Susan, I decided to go with just sending you a money order.
I tried to get a paypal account and it said I already had one
registered with my email address, and I tried to get my password
and it's just a hassle and since you said you didn't mind I'm
going to just send you a money order. I just need to know the
address to send it too. And also do you have my address yet?
