Hi I have a request for a stuffed item. I was wondering if it
is possible for me to email you some photos and you give me a quote
on how expensive you think it might be? Thanks!

Hello Casey: Thank you for visiting my site. I will be glad
to look over the photos, but please also send dimensions required
and type of fabric. I will probably have some questions after I
see your photos, but let's start with these basics.

Materials/dimensions are open to whatever you think is best as
long as he's near a foot tall. Based on the photos, I hope you can
get the general idea of the material he's made from and what not.
I do not necessarily need you to produce the collar, unless of course
you want to. Thank you so much for your time.

Hello Casey: I will have no problems making this special animal,
but I do have a couple of questions. Is this for a young child under
age three? I have some luscious fleece that would be very
durable and stand up to a lot of washing and "loving".
I have two shades of blue so that would work great. However, if
you prefer "plush" fake fur, I also have that in blues.
I would use safety-lock black eyes and nose, and probably embroider
a mouth. The cost for a fleece dog would be $18; the cost for a
fake fur dog would be $24. Shipping charges would be extra, and
I can only estimate that at $4 to $8. I'll look forward to hearing
from you.

No this is not for a child under three. Fleece would be perfect.
The only thing I was concerned about is his tiny eyes O_o haha.
But I'm confident in your abilities and completely understand any
setbacks that you may have. Once again I thank you for taking the
time out to email me and agreeing to make my little Kobato. ^_^
The only other places I've found are about $300 and whatnot but
it's because they all sell only in bulk. You don't know what this
means to me. Really. Thank you so much. Let me know prices so I
can properly pay you.

Two things: the plastic noses I have just don't look "right"
so I want to change that to fabric; and if you want the circle
type eye and not a bead, I will have to embroider that as nothing
I found looks like the photos. OTHER THAN THOSE TWO CHANGES, HE
IS READY TO SHIP!....the cost to ship is $5.35 plus $18 for the
dog for a total of $23.35. As soon as Pay Pal notifies me of deposit
to my account, he is on his way! I hope you love him...he was
a bit of a challenge with fleece fabric, but I do believe I got
a very close replica to your photos.

Yes please do those two things. Thank you so very very much.
I will send you payment right away. You don't know what this means
to me. Thanks so very very much! I will let you know how it is and
how wonderful I'm sure he is when I get him ^_^=. Please let me
know if there are any changes to the payment after the embroidering
and the fabric nose. Thanks again!

Hi Casey. I was notified that Paypal has put the funds in my
account. I will redo the eyes and nose today and get it to the post
office before 5pm. You should receive the package in 3 to 5 days.
Please let me know if it lives up to your expectations. I am always
anxious until I hear back as to customer satisfaction. Also if you
could, please "rate" me with Paypal so that I have feedback
as to how I am doing for my customers. Thanks for the order. And
perhaps add me to your "favorites" on the web.

Susan, There's no reason at all for you to be anxious. I've seen
the things you've done and I'm absolutely certain that he will
be everything I've imagined. You are a very kind and talented
individual, especially to do something like this for people you
don't even know. I appreciate it and I will let you know when
I get it and what I think; and I will be sure to "rate"
you on Paypal. I have already added you to my favorites and have
told a few of my friends about your website. ^_^= Thanks again
so very much. I'll keep you in mind the next time I need something
done.

I'm so glad that you like the dog...now you can satisfy my curiosity.
Is this a character from a book? Is it a newer book, or an old favorite?
In looking at this photo, maybe the neck should have been narrower,
but then the "floppy head syndrome" occurs, so I guess it
turned out best this way. I redesigned and combined two different
patterns for the body and head portions; |
|
then drafted my own legs and tail. I know
that this summer when I was shopping with my teenage daughter
we saw bracelets and jewelry with the spikes, but I couldn't find
any when it was time to finish the dog. That collar needs to be
snapped off if you wash the dog as I think that type of ribbon
will "bleed" when it gets wet, resulting in pinkish/red
dye getting on the fleece fabric. I hope I remembered to put the
care label and my personal tag on the bottom, but now I don't
remember if I did...Enjoy Kobata. Many happy thoughts go with
this email.

Kobato is the name of the book he came from. He is a little
girl's stuffed dog. The girl's name is Kobato and the dog's name
is Ioryogi. The book is fairly newer but it's quickly beome one
of my favorites. He is perfect the way you made him. I know all
about the "floppy head" syndrome as I have had many
stuffed animals that have gotten it over the years, and he did
indeed turn out the best way he possibly could. Don't worry about
it, you put your label and tag on the bottom of him and you provided
me with plenty of cards so I can share. ^_^= Thank you so much.
You truly are talented. He's going to go with me everywhere. I
think many people once they reach adulthood forget about their
old stuffed animals, especially when they become teenagers because
they think it's baby-ish. But I'm soon to be nineteen and I adore
every stuffed animal I've ever gotten, especially if I know that
someone went through the trouble of making it. In fact, my fiancee
buys me those "ty" beanie baby buddy bears (woah O_o)
every year for valentines day. So you can definately rest assured
that he will be well taken care of. I have told everyone about
you to the point where I think I'm getting repetitive but I just
can't believe how wonderful he is! I can always come to you if
I need something as great as him made! Thank you, truly, thank
you so much!!!
