The most requested item is a replica of the yellow plaid bunny blanket sold by Fisher Price in the late 1970s and early 1980s. After four years of searching, I still have not located a source for new blanket fabric in that color. It is rare, but I sometimes find an second hand ‘era’ blanket that I can use. A popular request is a replica of the Fisher Price Bunny Blanket from the late 1970's and early 1980s. I use white fleece for the puppet-style head, ears and paws. The flat face has an embroidered mouth, sewn-on vinyl eyes and nose, and pink fleece cheeks. The inner ears are pink satin with satin blanket binding around the edge. These are replicas of the 1980’s Fisher Price Raised Muzzle Bunny Blanket. There were several variations of the face manufactured. The eyes were ink printed and then sewn on. My replica has embroidered eyes that are sewn on and pink fleece cheeks. I sew a pink satin nose in to a separate muzzle that is stuffed with polyester fiberfill and has an embroidered mouth.
